Carbon Neutral Advantage will bring business and community together throughout Southland to equip our economy for a low emission future. This initiative will help businesses respond to the challenge of climate change and carbon trading by accelerating the uptake of new technology and offsetting opportunities.
We want to hear from Southland Businesses to find out what the priorities, challenges, pressures and opportunities are in response to the changing legislative environment (Zero Carbon Act and changes to the ETS ) and the impact of climate change to enable our economy to thrive.

This project is coordinated by Venture Southland and supported by a steering group that will provide leadership, technical skills and expertise to enable the successful delivery of this project. The steering group will be complemented by an advisory group with wider industry and stakeholder representatives. Please contact us if you would like to join the project advisory group.
The project is being delivered by Venture Southland and is funded by the Ministry for the Environment Community Environment Fund and the Tindall Foundation. The project aims to support the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
While we do our best to reduce our waste, this project will also be offset with tree plantings around the Southland region
